Coach Trevor Gallo completed his 4th season as an assistant wrestling coach with the Golden Tornado Wrestling Program. Coach Gallo started his wrestling career at Butler in the youth wrestling program. Coach Gallo then went on to compete at Slippery Rock High School under the direction of Butler Coach Fred Powell.

During his high school career, he was a three-time section champion, a district champion, and a regional champion. He was a three-time PIAA State Tournament qualifier and placed at the PIAA State Tournament in 2004 and 2005 earning a 6th place and 3rd place respectively.

After high school, Coach Gallo attended Mercyhurst University, and wrestled under Coach Mike Wehler where he was a national qualifier. He was a four-year starter for the Lakers wrestling at 184 and 197. Coach Gallo graduated from Mercyhurst College in 2005 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business. He then went on to Indiana University of Pennsylvania to earn his Master of Education in Business.

Coach Gallo began his coaching career in Virginia where he was the Head Wrestling Coach for Louisa County High School for three years. During those three years, he compiled a 70-23 dual record. He also had 13 Virginia State qualifiers and 4 state placers during the three-year stint.

He currently lives in Summit Township and teaches at Moniteau High School.
