Butler Middle School Cross Country vs. Seneca Valley/Hampton @ home

Butler Middle School girls' and boys' Cross Country Tornadoes hosted the Raiders and Talbots on the Butler home course for their last meet of the season. 

Jennifer Cichra led the race for the Tornadoes against Seneca Valley and Hampton. Cichra finished first overall in 13:43. Aubree Tack finished on her heels at 13:51, finishing second for Butler, third overall.  Krislyn Green crossed the finish line third for Butler. The Lady Tornadoes tore through Hampton, defeating the Talbots, 22-35. However, despite the fast pace race, the Tornadoes fell to the Raiders, 31-26. The girls' team finished 4-5 for the season.

The boys' race against the Raiders and the Talbots, led by Raine Gratzmiller, was dominated by the Tornadoes. Crossing the finish line at 12:14, Gratzmiller set the pace for the race. Gratzmiller, Sage Vavro, Cody Reep, and Ben Lyons finished first, second, third, and fifth overall. The Tornadoes put up a wall neither Hampton or Seneca Valley could get around.  The Tornadoes defeated Hampton 17-42 and Seneca Valley 17-41. The boys' team finished 8-1 for the season.
