The Butler Boys Varsity golf team traveled to Cranberry Highlands to play the final match of the regular season against Seneca Valley.  Both teams were tied for first place in the section and Butler lost a close match 199-195.  The Golden Tornado finishes the season 8-4 in the section and 11-4 overall.   Notables Butler 1. Willowbrook Country club hosted the WPIAL individual semi- finals. Butler had 2 golfers in the competition. The cut was set at 83 and Colin Patterson shot an 86 to miss the cut by three and Wyatt Kos advances to the WPIAL individual championship with an 82. Congrats to Wyatt for representing the Butler golf team at the WPIAL individual championship!

Butler Golf traveled to Tam O'Shanter golf course to compete against 24 high school teams in an 18 hole tournament. Butler finished in 2nd place with a combined score of 324. Tyler Figlioli took 3rd overall individually with a 78.

But boys golf traveled to Wildwood country club to finish a match that was rained out last Wednesday. Butler won the contest 218-228. Butler Varsity Golf sent 6 of it's best to play an 18 hole round at Shannopin Country Club with the cut for the next round set at a score of 81.  2 players made it to the semi-finals. Butler Boys Varsity golf hosted Pine-Richland at Hiland golf course Monday afternoon.  Butler won the contest 188-217.  This is Butler's lowest team score in over 10 years.  The Golden Tornado win got a big help from sophomore Hunter Swidzinski shooting a 1-under 34 for the victory.  Butler now stands at 7-2 in the section and 10-2 overall.   Notables Butler 1.
