Boys Varsity Baseball

Coach Herald - a 2011 graduate from Butler High School -  graduated from Seton Hill University where he played for the Griffins earning All-PSCA West first-team honors and various all-region accolades.  During summers of his college years, he was part of the BlueSox roster starting in 2013 and 2014.  He won the team's first annual Diamond Award in 2014, showing his exceptional contribution to the team both on and off the field.

In 2015, Herald was the assistant coach for the BlueSox before returning to the field to play for the Lake Erie Crushers and Washington Wild Things in the independent professional Frontier League. 

Herald was named field manager for the 2017 season with the Butler BlueSox guiding them to a 40-25 record and the franchise's first appearance in the Prospect League championship series.

Prior to being named the head varsity baseball coach at the Butler High School, Cody coached the 9th grade boys basketball team and was the assistant varsity baseball coach for the Golden Tornado.
