Head Coaches Comments:
We welcome "all" athletes into the Track & Field program each year. This team chemistry is made up of student athletes from numerous other sports and other activities to gel together to have balance on all 18 events offered at each meet. Sprints, middle distance and long-distance runners, hurdlers, relays, jumps, vaulting and throws.
Complete teams fill all 18 events and keep our young athletes growing into "balanced" track and field competitors through their senior year.
Our 2022 senior class sent our kids to the following schools for Track and Field: Bucknell, Duke, Duquesne, Grove City, Johns Hopkins, Liberty, Notre Dame, Penn State, Slippery Rock, Syracuse, and Youngstown State, among others.
We also take pride in stressing the importance of the classroom and making sure that academics come first.
The beauty of track and field is there is not a bench to sit and wait to get in a game. Everyone competes....and the watch and tape measure take care of the rest. Individual improvements come to make things healthy and enjoyable.
The entire coaching staff here thank our community and school for giving us the privilege to work and develop these student athletes. We are lucky to have so many incredible young athletes to coach!!
