Tuesday September 15^th 2020 – Results vs Seneca Valley and Pine Richland

On Tuesday The Butler High School Cross Country Teams faced off at Home against the Raiders of Seneca Valley and the Rams of Pine-Richland to open up the Dual Meet Season.

            The Tornado Boys came away with a double victory as they took down the Raiders of SV 19 to 40 and the Rams 18 to 38 to go 2 and 0 on the young season.

For the boys, it was Juniors CJ Singleton and  Sage Vavro along with Senior Skyler Vavro leading the charge. Sophomore Ben Lyons and Junior Raine Gratzmiller rounded out the Butler scoring.

In the Girls Race – The Tornado fell to both Pine Richland 19 to 41 and Seneca Valley 23 to 34. The girls were led by Junior Jennifer Cichra and Freshman Ava Brewster. Butler’s scoring was rounded out by the fine running of Sophomore Kara Kemple and Aubree Tack and Sophomore Samantha Cornell.

The girls are 0 and 2 on the young season.
