The Butler girls bowling team finished 12th at the Pennsylvania State Championships Saturday in eastern Pa. Nicole Nebel led the Golden Tornado with a 515 series and high game of 200.
Saturday in the state Singles championships, Mercedes Belch finished 13th overall. She averaged 181 for the six game set with high games of 223 and 219. Ashley McCue finished 19th. Nick Huff finished 20th overall in the boys championship.
