The Butler girls bowling team finished sixth overall at the Pennsylvania State Regional Championships Saturday and have qualified for the PA State championships. The Butler girls qualified fourth overall, but lost to eventual Regional champions Erie McDowell in the first round of the step-ladder finals.

Junior Abby Kyle led the Butler bowlers with a 548 series. Sophomore Jordyn Graham added a 539.

The girls will be among 12 teams competing at the state championships March 18th in Ephrata, Pa.

The Butler boys finished 15th overall as their season came to a close. Senior Nick Huff led the Butler boys with a 602 series. Sophomore Jordan Reges had a 598 series.
