Butler senior bowler Nick Huff finished in the top 10 of the WPIBL Championships Wednesday at Sims Lanes in Beaver county. Huff finished in a three-way tie for sixth overall, but lost in a tie-breaker roll-off to Daniel Schell of Mars, who went on to win the step-ladder championship. Huff rolled games of 201-183-197 for a 581 series. He has qualified for the Pennsylvania Western Regional championships in March. Junior Shawn Marcellus rolled the sixth highest game of the day, with a 224 in his final game which boosted him into a Regional spot as well. Freshman Chris Huff has also qualified for a spot at Regionals, but did not bowl Wednesday due to a shoulder injury.
